G-FLOOR™/ Parking Pad® Roll-Out Garage Flooring
Wall to Wall Professional Installation
1) Make sure garage floor is clean, dry and free of any objects.
2) Sweep dirt out of garage and remove any lumps or excess cement/debris that might cause a bump on the surface of the floor.
3) For best results, let G-Floor material set and relax in driveway for as long as possible to reduce instances of material expansion/contraction before any tape down or trimming occurs.
4) Position G-Floor at front of garage, one roll at a time.
5) Roll floor out - front to back - and position carefully.
6) Use a broom to push out any air underneath floor.
-- USE EITHER THE OVERLAP METHOD --
7) When installing multiple rolls wall-to-wall, overlap rolls (6" or more) and proceed to step 8.

-- TAPE-DOWN OF FRONT EDGE IS OPTIONAL --
8) Make a straight chalk line to mark along threshold edge. Use two-sided water proof tape to secure front entry edge of G-Floor to concrete floor. NOTE: Apply tape approximately 3" from front edge of mat to allow for some contraction without tape becoming visible.
9) Trim floor to fit around poles, boards, etc. using utility/rug knife or scissors.
10) Trim edges along exterior walls leaving 1/2" gap to allow for expeansion/contraction.

-- OR THE BUTT-JOINT METHOD --
7a) Trim edges to continue floor pattern by forming a tight butt joint between rolls.
7b) Use a two-sided waterproof tape to bond rolls together to form one continuous floor. Fold back edge of roll #1. Attach tape along the edge of roll #1 (leaving 1/2" of tape exposed) and fold back into position. DO NOT remove protective backing from underside of tape.
7c) Fold back roll #2 and carefully align along edge of roll #1. Continue process for each roll. DO NOT tape G-Floor to concrete floor. Let G-Floor "float" between exterior walls to allow for expansion and contraction.
