About the Boy Scouts of America
founded in 1910
British General Robert-Baden Powell founded the scouting movement in England. W.D. Boyce incorporated the Boy Scouts of America on February 8, 1910 and in April 1910 turned it over to the YMCA for development.
Cub Scouts are for boys in 1st thru 5th grade. Boy Scouts are for boys 6th thru 12th grade. Below are the Promises and Laws of being a good Cub Scout and Boy Scout.
